Spring jackets (minus the ‘swoosh’)

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

You know that ‘swoosh, swoosh’ sound that your snow pants used to make when they rubbed together? Well, that sound haunts me. Being bundled head-to-toe in a purple snowsuit would give you terrifying flashbacks, too. I refuse to wear windbreakers that I consider ‘too loud’ and forget winter jackets that have that horrid sound. If I’m going to be wearing something for half the year, it needs to be noise free.

FURI is a Canadian company has created outerwear composed of  ‘noise-free’ nylon – the dreaded fabric that would normally make the ‘swoosh, swoosh’ sound. Their spring line is a collection of lightweight jackets, all in the noiseless nylon fabric.

The upcoming LG Fashion Week Beauty by L’Oréal Paris will have 20 fashion police on the lookout, each will be wearing a pastel trench from FURI. You won’t hear them coming so “Be on the lookout for the pastel-coated brigade!”
