I never thought that pearls and anti-perspirant would be in the same sentence, let alone make up a product…
One of Nivea’s newest anti-perspirants contains “natural hydrolyzed pearl extracts”. Why? Because pearls help with evening out skin tone.
“Pearl powder has also been shown to reduce redness, fine lines, wrinkles, pore size and uneven tone, while calming irritation and increasing hydration” (New Beauty, Fall 2008).
It seems like the perfect ingredient to add to a deodorant to help with razor burn and underarm skin irritation.
Nivea has even incorporated pearl extract into their cream oil body wash. The wash is rich, creamy and has a nice light fig blossom scent.
I think Audry would agree, there’s nothing like draping yourself in beautiful pearls!

I would love to try Nivea’s pearl extract cream oil body wash. It sounds as luxurious as it might feel. :)
